Budget 2023: RM 20 million allocated to building drag circuits

During the reading of Budget 2023, Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Aziz revealed that the ministry has allocated a total of RM 20 million to build drag circuits in the country.

The plans to build drag strips are part of the government’s initiative to encourage and train youths who aspire to join motorsports activities and turn them away from illegal racing.

As of yet, the government did not indicate how many drag circuits the allocation is for.
