It seems Honda Malaysia’s charity contribution has inspired its dealers! Several Honda dealers have joined the company’s efforts by holding various food banks as well.
Like most car dealers in the country, these Honda dealers were also forced to close since the Full Movement Control Order (FMCO) was enforced in June 2021. It has come to the point that sales assistants (SA) themselves required the help of food banks to avoid going hungry.
Likewise, the Sri Utama Honda dealership and the Peringgit Equine Park dealership have also been doing their duty to help make sure Malaysians do not go hungry.
Meanwhile, USJ Car Express Honda Centre’s food bank is still ongoing. The dealership has partnered up with The Lost Food Project to help contribute food packs for those who were impacted by the lockdown.
They are also encouraging those who are able to help contribute some money to fund their efforts. According to their post, just RM 100 is enough to feed a family of 5 for a whole month.
There isn’t a time in memory that doesn’t involve staring at cars. After discovering the excitement of watching Schumacher vs Hakkinen, Formula 1 became a major part of life. The love for cars and F1 ultimately led to a job with CAR Magazine. The untimely death of the magazine meant a hiatus from cars at lifestyle women’s magazine Marie Claire before another opportunity came knocking again.
