Joining the list of exciting models electrifying the upcoming Carlist Drive Auto Fair 2023 will be the much talked-about Smart #1, and it's now your turn to catch it live in the metal!

With an exterior and interior crafted by Mercedes-Benz's design team, the #1 continues the ethos of the models that came before it – chic and fresh, if a little more practical today, all wrapped in a neat compact package.

The minimalist cabin is good for four people, and bootspace can be enlarged to 986 litres with the rear seats fully folded away. And with it being a new-age EV, smart technologies are part of the equation: there's a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster, head-up display (HUD), dual-zone automatic climate control, and wireless charging.

There’s also the courtesy seat that moves the driver’s seat backwards for easy ingress/egress, ventilated front seats, 10-way electric adjustment with memory, panoramic roof, and electric sun blind. Audio is piped through a 13-speaker 640-watt Beats sound system.

There will be at least two variants available, with both powered by a 66-kWh battery, providing a WLTP-rated range of up to 440 km. A rear-mounted motor delivers 272 PS and 343 Nm of torque, and will send you to 100 km/h from 0 in 6.7 seconds.

Maximum DC charging rate is rated at 150 kW, though the highlight is that the onboard charger accepts up to 22 kW AC charging.

Plenty to experience then, so come on down to the Setia Alam Convention Centre from 1-3 September 2023, Friday to Saturday, from 10 am to 8 pm to experience the Smart #1 for yourself at this year's Carlist.my Drive Auto Fair.
