Seen for the first time outside Europe; the MINI Concept Aceman previews the brand’s first EV SUV model, as well as other upcoming design and technology concepts from MINI.

Shown at the ongoing Singapore Autoshow 2024, the Concept Aceman highlights a functional two-box design which boasts seating for five passengers and a large bootspace. 

The sleek and minimalist design language is called "Charismatic Simplicity" and is said to combine design elements of the MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman whilst blending more futuristic elements.

Key design cues include the central grille element which is completely closed, LED contour lighting, reprofiled wheel arches as well as the use of more body contours to accentuate the athleticism of the design.

The interior of the Concept Aceman focuses on minimalism offering a premium feel through innovative materials, such as knitted recycled textiles and a leather-free steering wheel. The cockpit is adorned with a circular OLED display and a redesigned toggle switch bar, that combines digital and analogue controls.

Here too, users can interact with Spike, a virtual character inspired by the British Bulldog that will perform MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant-related functions to further provide an emotional connection between the driver and the car.

The Concept Aceman also introduces three Experience Modes — Personal, Pop-Up, and Vivid —providing a personalized and interactive driving experience. These modes blend specific displays, colour schemes, and sound stages to augment the driving experience.

The production version of the first MINI EV SUV is slated to arrive later this year; however, little is known about the powertrain that will feature in it at this point.
