Geely Holding sold 184,200 vehicles worldwide in Feb 2024, up 3% compared to last year

Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Geely Holding), the parent company of Proton announced that it had sold 184,200 units of vehicles in February 2024. Of the vehicles sold by the group last month, 64,300 units were electrified vehicles, accounting for 35% of overall sales.
Sales for the second month of the year went down compared to January (213,487 units) due to Chinese New Year celebrations. However, sales for Feb 2024 were 3% higher compared to the same month last year (107,878 units).
A total of 324,885 units were sold by Geely Holding in the first two months of 2024, a 55% increase compared to the same period in 2023 (209,315 units).
Besides Proton, Geely Holding also encompasses brands like Geely Auto Group, Volvo Cars, Lynk & Co, Lotus Cars, Polestar, Smart, Radar, LEVC (London EV Company), and Farizon Auto.
Geely Auto Group which comprises Geely, Lynk & Co, Zeekr, and Livan Auto brands reported a sales volume of 111,398 units in the second month of 2024. 33,508 of those vehicles are electrified, a 48% surge compared to the same month in 2023.
