KL PDRM is holding a Best Roadblock Award! Jalan Duta roadblock wins Round 1

No, this is not a joke. April was 2 months ago anyway. The Kuala Lumpur Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is really running a Best Op Covid-19 roadblock campaign.

City police chief Comm Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim told The Star that the campaign is evaluated according to the effectiveness of these roadblocks following several criteria. The criteria include operation, knowledge of duties, and cleanliness.

Based on these evaluations, the Movement Control Order (MCO) roadblock at the Duta toll plaza was rated the best-managed checkpoint. Meanwhile, the roadblock in front of Cheras Eko Mall ranks second best.

Comm Azmi hopes that the campaign would continue to motivate personnel in the field to give their full commitment to performing their duties while the country continues to battle the Covid-19 pandemic.

He also hinted that they will continue to hold more campaigns like this as a means to improve the quality of service to the community.
