Vietnam’s carmaker, Vinfast, plans to launch two electric vehicles (EV) in the US March next year. The two EVs are the VF e35 and VF e36 which was unveiled earlier this year.
Despite only 3 years in the automotive industry, VinFast has expanded globally and won the EV race against Malaysian car makers.
The company said that it has officially kick-started its branches in the US, Canada, France, Germany and the Netherlands in preparation for its launch in those markets. To prepare its entry into these markets, VinFast has recruited automotive and business experts from brands like Tesla, BMW, and Toyota.
“The fact that European and North American governments having announced roadmaps to ban internal combustion engine cars and switch to electric vehicles is a perfect opportunity for VinFast to conquer the global market.
“We are confident that VinFast will be positively welcomed around the world thanks to high quality, a flexible and innovative sales policy, and high-class after-sales services typical of Oriental style,” stated Thai Thi Thanh Hai - CEO of VinFast Global.
VinFast added that earlier this year, the company’s first electric car model - VF e34 - set a record in the Vietnamese market with more than 25,000 pre-orders being placed shortly after its launch.
The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
