Senior Works Minister, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, has announced that the Works Ministry will be carrying out repair works to fix federal roads that have expired service lives. Repairs are expected to be completed within a month and a half or in November.
The ministry has allocated approximately RM 3 billion to carry out the repair work. Considering the high costs involved, the Works Minister told reporters that the ministry is holding negotiations with the concessionaires.
