I can’t speak about North America, but I can speak for Belgium, Europe, where the pick ups are 3/4th the size of American pick ups. Nissan, Toyota and Mitsubishi have the best rep. I own a Nissan Navara D23 which I bought recently, I love it, great value for money! But the following are the brands I personally avoid: Ford Ranger, bad reliability bad dealer, bad service, bad reputation and bad quality. It’s a terrible shame, because Ford should be the best when it comes to pick ups, they’ve been in the business for a VERY long time. The Ford Ranger is RARELY used for serious duty, they’re often driven by families going for an outing. Isuzu D-Max, I fail to see ANY character in the Isuzu D-Max’s design. Very drab interior, and generic overall design. By all means it is VERY reliable and cheap to afford, many owners I know praise them for serious duty. But value for money… well nope. Work only, no play. That’s how Isuzu does it. Volkswagen Amarok, well is it really a pick up? It looks bland, and the interior looks like a modified Tiguan. Very expensive, price also skyrockets when options are added. Looks fragile for any form of work. One dent and you’re looking at a big repair bill.
Hi Richard, If your vehicle is still covered by the factory warranty, installing an aftermarket replacement part might cause issues. A condition caused by an aftermarket part is not covered under factory warranty policies. Let’s say you install aftermarket struts. After the installation you feel a vibration in the floor and seat. You pull into your dealership for warranty work to repair the vibration. A technician determines the cause of the vibration is due to the new struts. The repair will not be covered by the factory warranty. Since you are considering replacing the side marker lamps with aftermarket bulbs you are modifying the original factory design of the electrical system. There are numerous control modules in the system. If the aftermarket bulbs cause any changes to the vehicle that causes a module to malfunction, you would be responsible for the repair cost of replacing the module and any other issues caused by the failure including software and firmware flashes and updates. Obviously if your warranty has expired, all repair costs are your responsibility including issues caused by aftermarket parts. If you have no concern over repair costs go ahead and install the bulbs. Keep your fingers crossed they do not adversely affect the vehicle electrical system. Have a healthy and safe motoring day!

The brand is established worldwide and also provide competitive price cars in indian market but its not enough! If you take VW Polo it's the same car from the day it was launched to now with some basic updation and BS6 norms and the majority of features remain same The same happens with vento and ameo (expired model tho) Now the above cars are from budget segment , then comes the premium models such as T-roc , tiguan , tiguan all space , Jetta , Passat Well the best-selling models in VW is the Polo and vento and they haven't seen any major facelift since their initial launch which is a major drawback than its competitors !! The service network of VW isn't well in some places that I know , the cost of spares isn't on cheaper side tho , then it stays further back from the other competitors Other than above factors the be cars are a gem to drive and their high-speed stability is great and the cars are enthusiastic ones too A modified Polo Happy driving:)
