Selain dari itu, tempat duduk Proton Iriz juga kelihatan berbalut dengan lambang R3 yang disulam. Tempat duduk ini berlainan dengan tempat duduk bersulam lambang R3 yang terdapat pada Proton Saga R3.

Jangkaan awal Proton Iriz bakal dikemaskini pada tahun 2021 dengan kehadiran model atau varian baharu. Walaubagaimanapun, Proton Iriz yang diuji atas jalan dengan samaran mempunyai rel bumbung manakala Proton Iriz R3 tidak mempunyai ciri-ciri yang sama.

Proton Iriz Active juga dijangka mempunyai jarak kelegaan tanah yang lebih tinggi, konsep yang sama dengan Perodua Axia Style.
