1-month jail sentence and RM 16k fine for Myvi 'stick man'

The case of the white Perodua Myvi driving aggressively and waving a stick along MRR2 highway has come to an end and the driver has been sentenced to one month in jail and a RM 16,000 fine.
If the driver is unable to pay the fine, his jail sentence will be extended to four months.
The 32-year-old’s punishment was decided by the Magistrate Court. According to news reports, he pleaded guilty to two charges: driving recklessly along MRR2 while waving a stick and driving a car with a fake number plate.
For the first charge, the magistrate court sentenced him to one month in jail along with an RM 8,000 fine. For driving with a false number plate, the driver was charged with another RM 8,000 fine.
Previously, it was reported that the driver was found in possession of multiple stolen items, however, the case was not mentioned in the report.
The driver first went viral when various videos of him driving aggressively along the MRR2 highway and threatening other road users with a stick went viral.
