Honda City? Honda City Hatchback? Toyota Yaris? Test drive them at the WapCar Auto Show

Looking to buy a B-segment car but not sure which of the most popular models, is the Honda City, Honda City Hatchback, Toyota Yaris, or Toyota Vios more to your liking? They are all conveniently here at the WapCar Auto Show for you to test drive them back-to-back to determine which car best suits you!

If you’re looking for refinement and safety, the 2021 Toyota Vios and 2021 Toyota Yaris both offers 7-airbags across the range and Toyota Safety Sense's (partial) ADAS that includes Pre-Collision System (PCS or AEB as we commonly know it) and Lane Departure Alert (LDA).

Amongst the B-segment competitors, the Yaris and Vios have arguably the most refined cabin you can find. Not even the newly launched Honda City Hatchback can beat the two Toyotas in cabin refinement. However, what the Toyota duo loses out on are practicality and space as well as the absence of telescopic steering wheel.

Both the 2020 Honda City and the 2022 Honda City Hatchback have once again won the award for being the most spacious and most practical cabins in the segment. Especially the Honda City Hatchback with its Ultra Seats configuration.

However, both the Honda City and Honda City Hatchback are lacking in the safety department when compared to the Toyota duo. Yes, both Cities get a full suite of ADAS compared to the Toyota's partial ADAS, but the higher features comes at a higher price, and the standard airbag count is only 4, versus Toyota's 7.

But if you are in need of a car ASAP, then bad news because both Honda Cities have a 3-month waiting period while the Toyota duo has a shorter 1 to 2 months waiting period. So if you register for a Vios or a Yaris now, you might receive your car as early as August.

All said and done, the best way to determine which model suits your needs best is to personally test drive and feel the cars. Come on down to the WapCar Auto Show happening this weekend (1- to 3-July-2022) at the Piazza at Pavilion Bukit Jalil!
