![Mercedes-Benz post-SST prices: 4-6 percent up on average, C200 now RM 299k 01]()
Following the expiration of the sales and service tax (SST) exemption period, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has updated its price list.
Now with 10 percent SST for both locally-assembled (CKD) and fully-imported (CBU) cars, here are the new prices:

Prices have increased by around 4 to 5 percent on average across all models, with CBU AMG models like the A45 S and CLA 45 S seeing the biggest hike at 6 percent (around RM 27k for both).

Plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models like the recently launched GLC 300e and S580e get the smallest bump at less than 2 percent (RM 6k for the GLC 300e, RM 10k for the S580e).
