According to data compiled by Autolife Thailand, the BYD Dolphin has taken the lead in sales of battery electric vehicles (BEV) in Thailand, with 1,621 units sold in September 2023, a significant jump from 481 units in August.
The BYD Atto 3, which had been leading the EV sales chart for every month of the year so far except for June, followed closely in second place with 1,610 units sold in September.

Taking third place is the Neta V with 854 units, while fourth place goes to the Ora Good Cat with 650 units sold.

The MG EP took the fifth spot with 513 units sold and the sixth position was secured by MG 4 Electric, with 380 units sold. The Tesla Model Y placed in seventh with 250 units sold.
MG Maxus 9 came in eighth with 137 units sold, and the Tesla Model 3 took the ninth spot with 125 units sold. Rounding off the top ten was the MG ES, with 115 units sold in September.
In terms of overall BEV sales in Thailand, the number of BEVs sold in September increased to 6,875 units, compared to the 6,611 units sold in August.
The number of registrations for BEV in Thailand for the first nine months of 2023 stands at 50,347, constituting 10.05 percent of the total vehicle registrations, which amounted to 500,942 vehicles.
