Yesterday, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob clarified that couples who work in green and yellow zone areas are allowed to cross district borders to return to red zone areas that are currently observing the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) to see their families.
Ismail Sabri said at the daily non-health press conference that the standard operating procedure (SOP) for couples who work away from home on weekdays did not change for the reinstatement of CMCO.
As like the first CMCO issued on 1 May 2020, couples are allowed to travel interstate to return to their families provided they receive permission from the police first before travelling. Read more about the permission slip here.
