However, the company announced a time-limited discount of CNY 20,000 across all G6 variants until 31-March 2024, effectively lowering prices to start at CNY 189,900 (around RM 125k) post-discount.

The G6 580 Long-range Plus sports a black exterior complemented by smoked black exterior accents, including a blackened logo, grille, window surrounds, side mirrors, and black 20-inch wheel.
At the rear, the thick-walled combination LED taillight design mirrors the front aesthetics, while blackened rear badges continues the dark theme.
Utilising an 800V architecture with the SEPA 2.0 platform, the XPeng G6 supports up to 280 kW of DC fast charging, enabling the G6 to add 300 km of range in 10 minutes.
It gets an 87.5 kWh nickel cobalt manganese (NCM) battery providing a quoted range of 755 km based on the CLTC cycle, supplying energy to the rear-mounted electric motor that makes 296 PS and 440 Nm.
Inside, highlights include a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, 14.96-inch central display for the infotainment, powered front seats, and a panoramic glass roof. Another highlight is the fitments of sensors such as LiDAR and HD binocular cameras for the driver assistance system.
Closer to home, XPeng made its ASEAN debut at the 2024 Bangkok Motor Show, with the main highlight being the XPeng G6. The G6 is planned to be the first model introduced to right-hand drive (RHD) markets, including Malaysia where it will be distributed by Bermaz Auto.
