GWM Malaysia has posted a teaser for the Ora 07, also known as the Lightning Cat or Grand Cat, through its social media platforms, indicating that its arrival here is to be anticipated.

The Ora 07, a fully electric fastback sedan, rides on GWM’s Lemon E platform and will be the second model introduced after the Ora Good Cat.

The Ora 07 has already been introduced in Thailand, with the lineup starting at THB 1.299 million (around RM 172k) for the Long Range variant, followed by the Performance variant at THB 1.499 million (around RM 198k).

Both Long Range and Performance variants of the Ora 07 feature an 83.5-kWh ternary lithium battery. The Long Range is equipped with a front-mounted electric motor delivering 204 PS and 340 Nm, while the Performance boasts a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup providing 408 PS and 680 Nm.

As for range, the Long Range offers up to 600 km (WLTP) on a single charge, while the Performance variant provides a range of 495 km (WLTP). While specifics on charging information is not provided, it is mentioned that the Ora 07's battery can achieve a 30-80% state of charge in over 30 minutes through DC fast charging.
