Like the Haval H6, the smaller Haval Jolion (also known as First Love) has also achieved a perfect 5-star safety rating at the Australasia New Car Assessment Programme (ANCAP).

The Jolion scored 90 percent in the Adult Occupant Protection tests, 84 percent in Child Occupant Protection, 64 percent in Vulnerable Road User Protection, and 92 percent in Safety Assist.

The Jolion has one of the highest Adult Occupant Protection scores in the small SUV category. According to ANCAP’s statement, the Jolion was given high ratings thanks to the dual-frontal, side-chest protecting, and side-head-protecting (aka curtain) airbags that come as standard.

In addition to that, the Jolion also features a centre airbag which provides added protection to front seat occupants in side impact crashes as standard.

Like the Adult Occupant Protection score, the Jolion’s Safety Assist rating is also one of the highest ratings for the small SUV category.

There is also Lane Support System with Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK), and Advanced Speed Assistance system (SAS).

The Haval Jolion is one of the models marked for launch in Malaysia when Haval makes its official return to our country.

When it arrives in Malaysia, it would go up against cars like the Honda HR-V and Toyota Corolla Cross, having a full 5-star ANCAP rating would give it a boost against its popular rivals.
