For owners looking for a set of suitable tyres to tame their SUVs, the newly launched Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV (PS4 SUV) is what you need. Michelin Malaysia offers up to 39 sizes for the local market for wheel sizes ranging from 17- to 23-inches with recommended retail price starting from RM700.
The latest addition to the Pilot Sport family was developed with a new compound, asymmetrical thread pattern and hybrid belt to promise ultra-reactive reactive steering response, best in class dry and wet braking as well as superior longevity (up to 13,000) compared to the competition.
In an independent external test conducted by TUV SUD, the PS4 SUV equipped test car lapped a 1.05 km track up to 5.06 seconds quicker than its competitors, had the shortest dry and wet braking distance (up to 2.7 meters shorter in dry, 4.9 meters shorter in wet). Even when worn, the PS4 SUV tyre achieved up to 8.5 meters shorter braking distance against competitors.
