Every year, MINIacs (that’s what MINI enthusiasts are called) would gather around to spread the love of the adorable German-British hatchback and this year’s MINIfest is no exception.

Over 2,300 MINIacs flocked to Sentul Depot on Saturday, 22 July as the historic former train depot played host to MINIfest 2023. This year’s theme was called Big Love, Big Fun and it properly represented the vibrant community of passionate MINI owners.

Malaysia is also MINI’s fastest-growing market globally in 2022 as revealed by Linnet Yew, Head of MINI Malaysia. “As of June 2023, we have already sold 1,000 units of MINI vehicles, the highest ever in a 6-month span,” she shared. “We are certainly looking forward to providing them with many more experiences that strengthen their connection with the MINI brand.”

Aside from showcasing MINIs both old and new as well as exclusive test drives, MINIfest 2023 also offered live entertainment as well as a wide array of creative and sustainably made retail options.

Like a carnival but with a MINI theme, there are also thrill-seeking activities like the MINI Slingshot where participants were catapulted into the air for a bird’s eye view of the event as well as workshops to keep the younger MINIacs entertained.
