First batches of the Ora 07 electric sedan has arrived at Port Klang, ahead of its Q1 2024 launch in Malaysia.

Sized thereabouts of the Toyota Camry, the sedan will face off against rivals like the BYD Seal and Tesla Model 3, however, how its priced is a question that's yet to be answered at point of publication.

Though full details of the car are understandably still concealed, the little glimpse we can see of the cabin shows that it has dark-coloured seats; so perhaps one variant might not get the two-tone, bright shades of the car we saw in Singapore.

The kit should remain the same, as in a 12.3-inch touchscreen (with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) on the dashboard, an 11-speaker audio system, and power-adjustable front seats.

The question is, what specifications and features will be available for the model in the Malaysian market? So far, two variants have been confirmed, including a front-wheel-drive variant with a driving range of around 640 km, and another all-wheel-drive variant with a dual-motor configuration that has a driving range of around 550 km on a single charge.

The engine power output has not been shared yet, although the range is similar to the cars in Thailand, which could mean that the Ora 07 in Malaysia won't be far off from those numbers. For reference, the Thai market Ora 07 uses a 83.5 kWh ternary lithium battery for both the Long Range variants (204 PS / 340 Nm) and Performance variants (408 PS / 680 Nm).
