Previously in June this year, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia launched the V177 2023 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Sedan facelift. The A250 variant, initially estimated at RM 264,000, is now officially priced at RM 263,888.

Just to recap, prices start from RM 238,888 for the A200 to RM 263,888 for the A250. Both are locally-assembled (CKD Pekan) as before.

The A200 gets a 1.3-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine (M282) with 163 PS and 250 Nm, while the A250 has a mild hybrid system with a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine (M260) that makes 224 PS and 350 Nm.

Power is sent to the front in the A200 (FWD), whereas the A250 is equipped with the 4Matic all-wheel drive (AWD) system. The A200 is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), while the A250 features an 8-speed DCT.

There's a 14 PS integrated starter generator (ISG) in the A250 to allow for improved idle stop-start with smoother startup and improved efficiency.

The A250 also has Active Steering Control and better parking assistance, including help with parking and a 360-degree camera with 3D view. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) in featured but adaptive cruise control is absent.
