Tesla Model 3 Highland tries to avoid a Toyota Vios but collides with it instead

Yet another day brings forth another viral dashcam recording of a collision, this time involving a Tesla Model 3 Highland and a third-generation Toyota Vios.
From the footage not directly involved in the incident, the Tesla Model 3 can be observed proceeding straight across the junction while the dashcam vehicle is in the midst of a turn.
Simultaneously, a Toyota Vios is seen emerging from the left side of the junction but abruptly halts, presumably when spotted the Model 3, within a yellow box marking in the middle of the intersection.
The Model 3 seems to have assumed the Vios driver would continue through the junction rather than stopping, prompting it to attempt a manoeuvre to avoid collision. Unfortunately, instead of evasion, the Model 3 collides with the side of the Vios.
Based on the aftermath photos, the Model 3 does not appear to have suffered major damages, whereas the Vios shows significant crumpling on its driver's side. Presently, there is no information available regarding the extent of injuries sustained by the drivers involved.
The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
