Ahead of its launch, you can test drive the all new smart #1 this weekend at the authorised dealers of smart Balakong (Hap Seng) and smart Ipoh (GB Auto). Furthermore, as one of the first 501 pre-order customers, there will be the opportunity to access exclusive early-bird perks comprising RM 1,001 in charging credits directly via the Hello smart App.
Both authorised dealers will be open to the test drive sessions this 30 September – 1 October 2023 weekend from 10 am to 5 pm and you’ll also be able to learn more about the #1 in detail.

There will be 2 variants sold in Malaysia, the #1 Premium and the #1 Brabus. Both can be booked via a refundable RM 1,000 deposit through the app, and can be paid via credit or debit card. The app is available for Android, Apple, and Huawei phones.
The Premium variant is powered by a 66 kWh NMC battery, sending drive through to a 272 PS/343 Nm rear-mounted (RWD) single electric motor. Range is quoted at 440 km.

Basic specs shared include the car's signature illuminated front grille, and matrix LED headlamps. Seven exterior colours are available, but the cabin is limited to just one simple black-and-white setup called Dark Matter.
It also gets Beats audio (with 13 speakers), Qi wireless charging, 12.8-inch floating infotainment, and a head-up display. The seats are electronically adjustable, come with ventilation, and there's an electric glass roof as well.

As for the Brabus version, this one does the 0-100 km/h in 3.9 second time, which comes courtesy of its 428 PS/543 Nm twin electric motors (all-wheel drive). Its battery is still the 66 kWh Li-Ion type, but range is slightly shorter at 400 km.
It also gets 7 body colours, with a unique Brabus cabin that features red accents.
