Volvo Car Malaysia sold 1,950 cars in 2020, up 3% despite COVID-19

In a media event by Volvo Car Malaysia today, Mr. Nalin Jain, Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia announced that VCM sold 1,950 cars in 2020, up 3% from 2019, which saw 1,833 cars sold. July was the best month for VCM last year with 286 units sold,
2020 also saw the launch of the Volvo S60 T8 PHEV in Malaysia, and the opening of a new Volvo 3S centre in Kota Kinabalu.
For future plans, Mr. Nalin Jain said “We are going to introduce further sustainable product line up. It’s a huge line-up of products that we have for 2021. Very exciting products which will further enhance the sustainable impact of Volvo Car in Malaysia”.
