Right from the moment it made its global debut, the Honda e is an eye-catcher, thanks to its retro-inspired design. And now, the spunky little electric vehicle (EV) has landed in Malaysia.
This reconditioned model was brought in from the UK by Weststar Motors and is priced from RM 210,000 – putting it right on par with the MINI Cooper SE’s price tag of RM 217k (with extended warranty and service package).

Weststar Motors has also confirmed that they have delivered one unit of the Honda e, and more units are coming in.
According to Weststar Motors, this is an Advance variant of the Honda e, which benefits from a slightly more powerful electric motor that does 154 PS and 315 Nm. The regular, non-Advance variant of the Honda e does 136 PS and 315 Nm.
Power for the Honda e comes from a 35.5-kWh battery pack housed in the floor of the vehicle. Honda says that the e can travel up to 220 km with a single charge. DC quick charging is done via the CCS 2 connector and it takes 30 minutes to charge from zero to 80%.

If charged using the regular AC charger, Honda says it can charge up to 100% in 9 hours using a 3.7 kW single-phase power supply or a 22 kW three-phase power supply.
The unit brought in by Weststar Motor is also comprehensively equipped, as it is fitted with Automatic LED headlights, Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Brake System (AEB), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Traffic Sign Recognition System (TSRS), and Blind Spot Information system with Cross Traffic Monitor – the latter unique to the Advance variant.
