Which is the best automatic petrol or diesel car in India in 5-10 lac - Amaze, Jazz, Aspire, Zest, Polo, Baleno, Swift Dzire, Xcent, i 20 or other?

SUVs in India have gained immense popularity over the last few years. The segment has grown leaps and bounds with new contenders like Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza joining the bandwagon. From being a hatchback hub, our automotive industry has slowly moved on to large sized vehicles (SUVs) that offer good space, feature vital goodies and most importantly are available at the same price as a C segment sedan. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Maruti Suzuki had shown a strong indication to enter the sub-compact SUV market and well the Vitara Brezza is the company's answer to this segment. The Maruti Vitara Brezza, based on Suzuki's Global C platform, takes its design inspiration from its larger sibling - the new generation Suzuki Vitara. That being said, it was not only developed in-house by Maruti, but also made its global debut in India at the Auto Expo 2016. Furthermore, localisation level on the car is 98 per cent and is completely manufactured in the country. The company also plans to export the car but will first look at the needs of the domestic markets. Under the hood is a 1.3-litre four-cylinder DDiS 200 tuned to produce 89bhp of power at 4000rpm along with 200Nm of torque at 1750rpm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Though its styling remained unchanged all these years, it received a new engine in 2006 and a minor facelift in 2008. However, in September, 2014 it got a new platform, chassis, transmission, features, interior design and slightly different exteriors. Is Tata's build quality better than the Maruti Suzuki?

Decide yourself, ,Case 1 : , In this accident, Tiago was sandwiched between two-vehicle, a truck, and another car... No casualties all the passengers of Tiago are safe... Case 2 : , In this crash, Tiago driver slammed his car on to a Light pole and impact lead to the snapping of the pole... I think Tiago also rolled over and landed on its left side...(it looks like from the picture) No casualties... Case 3 : , To avoid a collision with Ace pickup truck, Nexon driver had to sharply swerve left but unfortunately, his SUV’s front left tire was off the road and burst. He couldn’t regain control as a woman appeared out of nowhere on the road. It led to him moving to the right and his Nexon ended up rolling over... No casualties And many more cases of TATA's new cars, I'll add few links of other accidents as well. Some of the accident survivors even wrote appreciation emails and letters to TATA...(link is in footnotes) Let's look at one or two accidents of MS cars... ,Case 1: , Swift slammed into the back of the Scorpio Swift occupants sustained multiple injuries because they weren't wearing seat belts... Cass 2: , Nexon hits Ciaz No casualties, though ciaz's backside is heavily damaged... Now decide yourself TATA or MS Pros, of ,MS, from ,Indian customers perspective,: High mileage, High resale value, Low maintenance, Less price, etc... ,Cons, of ,MS, from ,Indian customers perspective,: None... From ,my perspective,, ,TATA, is good for safety, service, look, engines and ,MS, is good for mileage (which I don't care) ,Vitara Brezza, is always an exception when it comes to safety, it's the only car that I love from MS... Now people will also say that TATA's service scuks than plz look at this ,CSI, reports and compare both cars... 2017, 2018, 2019, Footnotes MASSIVE Tata Tiago crash: Truck driver in hospital but Tiago occupants unhurt Tata Tiago's Build Quality Saves Passengers In Another Dreadful Accident Tata Nexon Saves A Family Despite Rolling Over In A Big Crash 5 Tata Tiago accident cases where all occupants escaped alive! Which car should I buy, Brezza or Nexon?

After continuous follow up most of my issues are fixed. Including steering wheel noise. Tata is trying their best to make their customers happy. Thank you Tata. // Old review Get reviews from Owners is the first thing you have to do. Am a Nexon owner and here is my opinion. If Nexon is a “bug free” vehicle, definitely it is the best one. It has 108 Hp Engine, 6 Gears, Drive Modes, beautiful interior and some price difference. But will you get peace of mind after buying it ? To my case, No ! Am worried. It has started many issues, many of them are simple but it is happening to a brand new vehicle which I thought to use for more than 5 years. First thing noise from plastic part above steering wheel. Which is irritating and I have complained it many times and they are saying it is common to all Nexon and it is unsolvable. Second, on my diesel XM model, cluttering can be heard very well from speakers when volume is up above 80%. Noise from Windows, seats, seat belts, Steering wheel and many other places makes discomfort to the maximum. A black floating design plastic part on the driver side door is touching my knee. Since height is not adjustable, I need to bear the pain. Am looking whether I get a XZ height adjustable seat. Gear is worst. 3 rd gear is a nightmare. Mileage is not up to Brezza, we can ignore it since Nexon has more weight and power. And the major thing, if these issues had happened on a Brezza, I could have easily sell it and buy another car. But for Tata, if you buy it, end of story. Nobody is going to buy your new Tata car. They are pretty much sure you are selling it off because of issues. As I learned from experienced customers whom I met from Tata service centre, I made a terrible choice. No Tata Fan boys can help you once you made your choice. Lately I understood that you need to have more comfort to your mind than the comfort you can have from a more featured car on spending huge amount. Another very important message who is going after TATA cars after reading the reviews on Quora, Youtube or any other media.. Tata is spending lots of money in internet marketing. For making this clear, just go through these profiles Natasha Mehra, Aradhya Shah, Ashok Singh, Naman Jain. These are some of Tata’s fake profiles created for marketing in Quora. As I said earlier get advice from owners and good mechanics. And never put your money on a un-reliable product.

Which one is better to buy ecosport titanium diesel or creta e plus diesel?

Both the cars are in the segment of compacts SUVs. Let us see some points. Reasons to buy Ford EcoSport Titanium 1.5L TDCi: Better ground clearance, i.e., 200mm. More powerful engine producing maximum power of 99 bhp and 205 Nm torque. Special features and comforts like, speed sensing door locks, automatic climate control air conditioners, keyless start/stop button, rear parking sensors with reverse camera. It also have rear defogger and rear wiper. Extra features in instrumentations like, average fuel consumption, distance to empty. It has GPS Navigation system, bluetooth compatibility, steering mounted controls Reasons to buy Hyundai Creta E Plus 1.4 CRDI: Greater dimensions, hence more comfortable drives. Larger bootspace with 400 litres capacity. It has a U2 VGT CRDi 1.4 L diesel engine, which comes with 6 no. of gears which means more smooth drives at higher speeds. Has ABS and EBD with Brake Assist also. Contains rear AC vents, which means more comfort for the rear row in summer as well as winter. Extra features in instrumentations like, door ajar warning, dynamic gear shift indicator. It has 6 speakers, which means entertainment while driving. Some common features in both: In instrumentation, average speed, low fuel level warning, analog tachometer and instantaneous consumption. Conventional headlamps and tail lamps. Turn indicators on ORVMs, body coloured bumpers, front and rear power windows. Comes with ABS & EBD. 2 airbags and seat belt warning. Mileage between 20–22 kmpl, if driven gently. Both comes in Manual gear transmission. Hyundai Creta E Plus 1.4 CRDi Ford EcoSport Titanium 1.5L TDCI These are some points above which I found useful. I would suggest to go for test drive of both the vehicles and choose as per your requirements. Some other competitors: Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Renault Duster Renault Captur Tata Nexon Honda WR-V Hope this helps. Thank You!

Are rich Asians really crazy?

The word “crazy” in the novel title “Crazy Rich Asians” by Kevin Kwan refers to the unthinkable amount of wealth, not the individual characters. What people needs to know is that, as much as we fantasize about “powerful hyper rich Asians” restoring the prides of Asian minorities in western world, their wealth are nothing and miniscule compared to “crazy rich white Americans and Europeans”. A lot of Indian magnates are far crazier and far richer. The film took pretty much Asian-American (Chinese American to be precise) views on it. The thing with Chinese is their classic stubborn attitude “nobody can teach China what to do”. Then there is the vindictive attitude, “one day, we will show them”. And finally, the provincial gaudy aspect, ala Xiang Yu of Chu during the crumble of Qin Dynasty: “becoming rich and famous without your town’s folk realizing is like wearing glamorous dress in the middle of the night.” Some of them do carry this attitude towards their financial success, making them a different kind of rich people, the antithesis of humble and down-to-earth Jack Ma, the low profile ,Li Ka-shing,. The Lohia family of ,Indorama Corporation, produced 1 out of 3 PET bottles in the world. If you are drinking a plastic bottled water, Coca Cola, Pokka greent tea, Gatorade, 33% chances are, the bottle is made by Indorama Ventures. Aloke Lohia, is made an advisor to thr government of Thailand. You can’t be as high profile as the Young family and their friends in real world. Tax authorities will be all over you. It is not like your “crazy” amount of wealth will save you from the tax bills. Because, extravagant lifestyle took more than just “crazy” amount in your bank account to sustain. Most “Crazy Rich Asians” (Chinese Asians), typically are “middle-rich” that doesn’t necessarily make the top 50 or even top 100 rich Asians, but “rich enough” to “live comfortably” as Nick Young said. Like most riches, they seek to secure their wealth, such as siphoning it out of tax authorities to several holding accounts in tax havens. One of them is Singapore, there is an obvious reason why rich friends and relatives of mine love Singapore so much. These kind of “still below the radar” level of notoriety grant them some space to do shenanigans such as partying loudly and ostentatiously without anybody noticing. “,Who is that?” “I don’t know, must be some newly rich guys.” People in Asia are generally more tolerant about abusive behaviour, which contributes to our “subservient” stereotype. We just don’t want to get trouble with people who can easily bribe officials and buy an entire country. We are just wise. Rich Asians in general are not crazy. But they are just a bit too ostentatious. Especially if they adopted celebrity or “socialité” lifestyle. Back in 2016, I stayed near Hotel Armani, via Manzoni, Milano, Italy. The most expensive thing I saw there was 1990ish Lamborghini Diablo VT. The next day, another 1990ish Ferrari Testarossa. Geez, people in Milan is very poor. And that remark may made people think that I am a crazy Asian. But having an income of just roughly € 2.000 per month, working in the same building with BMW-Mini, Maserati, less than 1 km away from Aston Martin showroom, a couple of bus rapid transit stations away from this: http://www.jakarta.mclaren.com/news-and-gallery/gallery/p1-gallery Yep, Milan, Portofino, Rome looked piss poor compared to Jakarta. Here is what I normally see in the lobby: Did I mentioned that I saw Ferrari F12 less than 3 months after its release in Plaza Indonesia’s lobby? I mean, just wait for Friday night, and if you can’t see any cars above $100.000, then something wrong is going on. I sort of expected more or at least the same from Italy’s most glamorous venues. Because this is a regular occurence here in Jalan M.H. Thamrin, Jakarta. Then you started to wonder, who the hell are these guys? Because, like being shown in the film, we all sort of know about the Indonesia’s richest. This guy: His bank’s headquarter is the next building next to my work place. We saw him dropping from a meagre run-of-the-mill MPV: Occassionally, he also took his black Mercedes S400, a barely $100k car. Then we have this guy, Franciscus Welirang: The guy who run the largest instant noodle manufacturer in the world. We know that he owns a red Baby Rolls Royce (Ghost), but most often, we saw him coming out from the front door of the the older version of that MPV, a car that is not any more expensive than a Corolla. Crazy Rich Asians is about petty political statements, ,- the Hollywood way It tries to say the age old anti-bullying cliché: “don’t underestimate us, (American) Asians”. The film refused to criticise USA, but instead directed it towards the classical cultural enemy of the US: the pompous Brits and their haughty European hellspawns. Eleanor was being humiliated by a bunch of arrogant and sneering British bell boys, only to enact her revenge the most American way possible: free market capitalism. You’ll instantly realise that this is Asian-American movie and Asian-American story. Yes, it was an overseas Chinese folks who owns all those chest-thumping wealth. But a spunky American girl were shown to be able to sort of “keep up” with her. It indulges every Asian Americans in their inferiority complex by presenting themselves in the shoes of Rachel Chu: an American Cinderella, just like Anne Hathaway did back in 2001 in Disney’s The Princess Diaries. It is made from the very same common theme: American princesses, stereotyped to be shallow gold diggers proving their worth to the snobbish old world people. The thing is, half-minority real-life American princess actually must “humble down” their life expectations as typically, actual “Crazy Riches” don’t do ostentatious spending: Prince Harry & Meghan Continue To Be The Most Relatable Royals, Based On This Plane Anecdote Driving a manual transmission off road vehicle. I don’t think most of the blue-collary average Americans know how to operate this thing, let alone someone like Rachel Chu. Real rich people, Asian, European, Australian, American, or African take pride on what makes a character: trades, skills, and personally fulfilling hobbies and pasttimes. My late super rich uncle sometimes drives on his own, despite his rheumatic condition. Every Sunday morning, he drove down Surabaya downtown to Jalan Ambengan, visited his favourite Soto Pak Sadi. He doesn’t have to say a word. Just greet the host “good morning” and sit down. The folks there will serve his favourite servings of soto ayam campur without koya and steaming white rice. People may call him humble for not eating caviar, but he is just being honest with himself. You would never notice him as “rich person”, despite sitting next to his bench. He wore a common polo shirt and pants, stepping down from a white 1996 Suzuki Vitara (Sidekick in USA). No Rolex, no Gucci wallet, not even expensive shoes or belts. Why? Well, not even the super billionaire, a couple times richer than the fictional Young family spend lavishly on something he doesn’t personally enjoy: Yes, that is Warren Buffett at McDonald’s drivethrough. Warren Buffett eats the same thing for breakfast every day and it never costs more than $3.17 Likewise, I never really see any real top 10 rich Asians doing crazy stuffs, unless they are trying to live a celebrity high-profile lifestyle, promoted by the media and Hollywood riches. 5 Pernikahan Mewah Selebgram Indonesia, Gaun Menyala hingga ala Cinderella 6 million US Dollar dowry? Nah. 5 Pernikahan Mewah di Indonesia, dari Artis hingga Pengusaha Batu Bara As you may notice (use Google Translate if you don’t), most of these super luxurious banquets are held by celebrities, actress, musicians, politicians, and the likes. Only some of them are business magnates. So, not all of rich Asians are crazy to be exact. But there is enough number of them to make this phenomenon very noticable.

Is it worth buying a Ford Freestyle (Titanium) Diesel over the Maruti Suzuki's Vitara Brezza (VDI)?

I didn't think I would be suggesting anyone to go for Ford instead of Maruti in India, but the same is actually true in the case of these two cars. Freestyle has better build quality and is also a few lakhs cheaper. When you look for an SUV, you search for heavy matetial, not plasticky interiors, and thats what you get in the Brezza. Choose the Freestyle anyday..Ford will catch up in terms of service network, now that they have a number of successful vehicles under their belt. Get more information at keep-writing.com
