The 2019 Honda City is the best selling non-national car in Malaysia. The B-segment sedan has dominated the market since its launch in 2014 when it made its arrival with VSC and traction control making it the safest car in its class compared to rivals Toyota Vios and Mazda 2. And the strength of the upcoming 2020 Honda City is only increasing. The current City's 1.5-litre engine dispenses 120 PS and 145 Nm. In 2017, Honda also introduced a Hybrid variant that produces 139 PS and 170 Nm combined and has a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. (Toyota Vios vs Honda City; How do they compare?)
The all-new fifth-generation Honda City has been caught undisguised in India. While it may look visually identical to the model that was recently introduced in Thailand, IndianAutosBlog posted details of the new model, including the dimensions and powertrains. Curiously, the spec sheet lists the all-new City with two lengths - 4,549 mm and 4,569 mm, though this could be due to different bumper designs. The all-new Honda City 2020 was introduced a few days ago but only made its public debut at the 36th Thailand International Motor Expo in Bangkok.Unconvinced of the press photos provided online, we went on-site to the Thailand International Motor Expo to get a first feel of the new Honda City.True enough, the new Honda City, now in its fifth generation, had a certain level of wow factor when viewed in the metal. The sharp lines that make up the new-generation Honda City were only visible (a
