Fresh off its launch, the Perodua Myvi Facelift managed to get up to 14,000 bookings in a span of less than two weeks, proving once again, that it’s the undisputed leader of the Malaysian car market.
And this is no ordinary facelift – in addition to customary aesthetic updates, the Myvi Facelift has crucially received a new D-CVT (the D stands for dual-mode) which has has been claimed to improved refinement, fuel economy and make the Myvi 20 percent quicker from 0-100 km/h.
Our “all about the details” guy Adrian, had a chance crunch those details recently and put the Myvi through its paces. Check out the video feature below to see what he thinks about the 2022 Myvi Facelift.
To recap, the 2022 Perodua Myvi Facelift has is offered in five variants at the following prices:

The former ASA 3.0 now becomes a subset under PSDA; offered as standard across the range.
Powertrains are as before, the (95 PS/121 Nm) 1NR-VE 1.3-litre engine powers two of the five variants (1.3 G and 1.3 G PSDA), whilst the 1.5-litre models receive the more powerful 2NR-VE Dual-VVT-i four-cylinder which outputs 103 PS and 137 Nm of torque.
Drive is sent to the front wheels, in all variants, via the aforementioned D-CVT transmission.
Arvind can't remember a time when he didn't wheel around a HotWheels car. This love evolved into an interest in Tamiya and RC cars and finally the real deal 1:1 scale stuff. Passion finally lead to formal training in Mechanical Engineering. Instead of the bigger picture, he obsesses with the final drive ratio and spring rates of cars and spends the weekends wondering why a Perodua Myvi is so fast.
