The Maxus Mifa 9 has officially launched in Singapore, priced from SGD S$282,999 (~RM 982k). The island state is its second stop in our region after its ASEAN debut in Bangkok, Thailand earlier this year. In the
Under the smooth bodywork then is a 90 kWh battery, juicing the car up for 435 km of range. Power is fed through a front-mounted electric motor capable of producing 245 PS and 350 Nm, capable of propelling the EV from 0-100 km/h in 9.2 seconds before hitting a top speed of 180 km/h.
When the battery runs down however, 11 kW AC charging will see the battery charged from 5- to 100% state of charge (SoC) in 8.5 hours; its 120 kWh DC fast charging capability allows a 30- to 80% charge in just 30 minutes.
And just to make it clear - the Mifa 9 is a new product from the ground-up, sitting on the Maxus Intelligent Flexible Architecture (hence the acronym, Mifa), and not a commercial vehicle get-up like its cheaper, internal combustion engine stablemate, the G10.

Closer to home, the Mifa 9 is coming to Malaysia later this year, as evidenced in a recent teaser.
