No redlines were left untouched at last weekend's Honda Type R Track Night, which saw an army of 60 cars take it to a wet Sepang International Circuit as a last-minute blast to cap 2023.

Organised by Honda dealer Ban Lee Heng Motor – which runs dealerships in both Seremban and Melaka – the 30-Dec 2023 event drew the participation of (fast) Hondas of almost every vintage; from 1990's Civics, to a couple of Accord Euro Rs, all the way up to today's FL5 Civic Type R.

On another note, you may remember this dealership for a couple of other Type R fanaticism over the last couple of years; once for converting their showroom floor into a 'Type R museum', and doubling that up with a gathering of Type R vehicles later in 2021.

Some brave souls also brought their S2000 along to play, mixing it up with some race-prepped, fully stripped-out Integras.

Drivers were a mix between Malaysians and some who drove up from Singapore, and the FK8 Civic Type R was the most popular model of the bunch.

Little surprise then that the best time of the night came courtesy of a FK8 itself, having clocked a best time of 2:37:540 on a soaked track.

Adding to the carmarderie of it all were merchandise sales and lucky draws, with prizes supplied by Ban Lee Heng Motor, and event sponsors Liqui Moly, Hexa Vantage (authorised distributors of 3M Autofilm), Mcartoc Auto Tyre, and Heap Tat Paint Sdn. Bhd.
