SAIC Motor Malaysia has opened order books for the MG ZS EV. It arrives here in its facelifted form, fully imported (CBU) from China, and will be offered in only one variant, with an estimated price of RM 129,000.

The refreshed MG ZS EV boasts a redesigned front end, doing away with the traditional grille and instead featuring the charging port positioned on the right side of the logo. At the front, the trapezoidal air intake is divided into two sections, complemented by vertical corner air inlets. Similarly, the rear of the vehicle showcases a split design along the bottom edge.

In terms of lighting, the LED headlights incorporate arrow-shaped daytime running lights, while the taillights echo this motif with arrow-shaped graphics. It rolls on 17-inch alloys with propeller-styled aero covers.

The variant slated for Malaysia is the Standard Range model, equipped with a 51.1 kWh battery that delivers a WLTP rated range of up to 320 km. The front-mounted motor generates 176 PS/280 Nm of power.
Charging wise, the onboard charger accepts up to 7 kW AC charging, while DC charging goes up to 50 kW.

Inside, there’s a 7-inch digital instrument display and a 10.25-inch central touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Standard features include automatic climate control with rear air vents, 360-degree parking camera, leather upholstery, 6-way electrically-adjustable driver's seat, panoramic roof, and a wireless charger.

Colour options for the MG ZS EV in Malaysia include Monument Silver, Artic White, Dynamic Red and Black Pearl.
The MG ZS EV comes with 7-year/150,000 km warranty package (whichever comes first) for the vehicle, and 8 years/180,000 km (whichever comes first) for the battery.
