BMW Malaysia has introduced the BMW iX2 xDrive30 battery electric vehicle (BEV), now open for pre-booking, priced from RM 297,000 on the road without insurance, inclusive of the RM 14,200 BMW Service and Repair package.

Featuring sporty design elements, the BMW iX2 xDrive30 is an all-electric version of the X2. Standard BEV aesthetic cues apply; things like the closed kidney grille (with Iconic Glow lighting), adaptive LED headlights, and black high-gloss details as standard with the M Shadowline package.

Its accompanied with style 873 M Bicolour 20-inch light-alloy wheels, body-flush door handles, and standard LED tail lights round the back.

Within the interior, the iX2 comes with the BMW Curved Display (10.25-inch instrument cluster plus 10.7-inch central screen) equipped with BMW OS9, head-up display, wireless charging, and Harman Kardon audio.

Apart from the digitalisation, it comes with M multifunction leather steering wheel, Aluminium Hexacube Pale M interior trim, and faux-leather Veganza upholstery with contrast stitching. Sports seats are standard up front, and the rear seats come in a 40:20:40 split configuration.

Under the hood, the BMW iX2 xDrive30 is powered by two electric motors (one on each axle, all-wheel drive), delivering a combined system output of 313 PS and 494 Nm, With a 66.5 kWh high-voltage battery, it offers a WLTP range of up to 449 km and achieves the century sprint in just 5.6 seconds.

Maximum charging power is 130 kW via a DC fast charger, enabling it to charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 29 minutes. 11 kW AC charging is standard, and it'll take you 6 hours and 30 minutes to charge it to 100 percent from zero.

Performance is complemented by upgraded M Suspension (improved stabiliser bearings and multi-link rear axle), M Sport Steering, and M Sport Brakes.

In terms of ADAS, the BMW iX2 xDrive30 comes with Active Guard Basis, Driving Assistant Plus, and Parking Assistant Plus as standard, offering features as below:

• Lane Departure Warning, with active steering intervention
• Front Collision and Left Turning Warnings, with active steering intervention and braking
• Speed Limit Info and Assist, including anticipation and a no-overtaking indicator and Evasion aid
• Active Cruise Control
• Steering and Lane Control Assistant

Customers can choose from a range of 7 exterior colors and 5 upholstery options for a personalised experience. Financing plans are available through BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, offering flexible ownership options.
