Geely has announced that the company has successfully sold 1.32 million units in 2020. To be more precise, the Chinese automaker has sold 1,320,217 units in 2020.
This comes after it has reported 154,202 units sold in December 2020. While the year on year sales saw a 3% loss compared to 2019 (1,361,560 units), Geely has stated that the figures have beaten its revised target for a tumultuous 2020.
In spite of setbacks such as the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 has generally been a good year for Proton’s owner.

The company celebrated its 10 millionth vehicle sales milestone, introduced 2 brand-new models built on the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform developed alongside Volvo Cars (the Preface and the Xing Yue), as well as expanding its presence in markets such as the Philippines.
