Mercedes-Benz Malaysia wants to remind all owners of Mercedes-Benz cars that its service centres are still open to provide all the support that owners need to keep their cherished cars in the best condition.
More importantly, it wants to remind owners that Mercedes-Benz offers a host of service options for owners who prefer to stay in the safety and comfort of their homes.
The first is a Door-to-Door home pick-up service. You can relax and continue working from your home while an authorised Mercedes-Benz personnel collects your car from your home.
Once the maintenance work is complete, the car will be delivered to your home. This service is available at selected Mercedes-Benz service centres, to customers staying within a 10 km radius (30 km radius during normal, non-MCO period).*
To enjoy this service, all you need to do is to contact your nearest authorised service centre.
The other alternative is the Drop & Go service. Customers can drop off their car at their preferred Mercedes-Benz service centre at any time outside the workshop’s operating hours.*
This way, you don’t need to be bothered with social distancing at all. Simply leave your car key inside a secure storage and a service advisor will contact you the following morning to advise you on the recommended maintenance job for your car.
Apart from these two options, the usual 60-minute express service is still available, where two expert technicians will simultaneously work on your car in a dedicated work bay, F1 pit crew-style, almost.
Of course, this being a Mercedes-Benz service centre, it’s a given that the facility operates under very strict health and safety guidelines.
Only a limited number of customers are allowed at any one time, so owners are highly encouraged to make an appointment at mb4.me/myoab before visiting their preferred service centre.
For your peace of mind and wellbeing, Mercedes-Benz has implemented the Star Shield programme; a comprehensive safety plan that includes cleaning and sanitisation of vehicles before and after any maintenance job is done.
We may be living in unusual times, but it is comforting to know that the 135-year old Mercedes-Benz has weathered tougher challenges than this, so you can be certain that the usual Mercedes-Benz standard of customer care will continue to remain, and that means only using factory-approved genuine parts, including factory-approved MO (Mercedes-Benz Original) run-flat tyres, for your car, so it continues to operate at the highest level that Mercedes-Benz designed it to be.
Customers who require additional assistance during this FMCO period are advised to call 1-800-88-1133 or email s24h.mys@cac.mercedes-benz.com.
*Terms and conditions apply. Owners are encourated to contact their nearest authorized Mercedes-Benz service centre for appointments.
