About three years since its launch, Honda Malaysia confirms the pre-facelift Honda Odyssey has been sold out here.
Just to recap, the pre-facelift (or rather, the first facelift) Honda Odyssey arrived in Malaysia as a fully-imported model in 2018 with one variant available – the 2.4L EXV, priced at RM 254,800 during launch.
It’s powered by a 2.4-litre naturally aspirated DOHC i-VTEC engine that makes 175 PS and 225 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT that drives the front wheels.
It gets the Honda Sensing suite of ADAS that includes Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
As for the 2021 Honda Odyssey facelift, its arrival in Malaysia is yet to be confirmed but we can still expect it despite news of its discontinuation in Japan, as stocks will still be available after the plant closes in December 2021.
The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
