In November, Chery Group’s sales volume reached 100,531 units, making it the sixth consecutive month in which sales exceeded 100,000 units.
In the first 11 months of 2022, Chery has sold 1,127,289 units (+32.6 percent year-on-year), achieving the best performance in its history, and with export volume having increased by 70.9 percent, Chery has set a new export record for Chinese brand passenger vehicles.
Amidst on-going challenges throughout the year, Chery, which has been China’s top passenger car exporter for 19 consecutive years, has broken its own record for the export of Chinese brand passenger vehicles in a single month in succession, with four months of export volume in excess of 50,000 units.
These achievements are attributable to the strength of Chery’s products. The seven-seat Tiggo 8 Pro, frequently employed as a reception vehicle for state guests in Brazil, has racked up sales of 171,000 units this year, while the Tiggo 7 Pro sold 146,000 units, ranking first in its segment in Qatar and other Middle Eastern countries/regions.
Chery now has over 11.13 million users worldwide, including 2.35 million users outside China. In partnership with more overseas dealers and business partners in the global automotive industry, the company will continue to accelerate its globalisation strategy and build its brand image in many parts of the world.
Closer to home, Chery has confirmed that the Omoda 5 and Tiggo 8 Pro will be launched in Malaysia in mid-2023. Both will arrive as locally-assembled (CKD) units.
The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
