Basic information about my car:

2014 Mercedes Benz e250 coupe facelift

Reasons why I bought this car(purpose):

Replacement from c200. I always wanted a coupe.. daily drive which is reliable and safe. Apparently, my good friend wanted to buy my c200 and I found this car at a reasonable price.

Car Selection Process

• I had a budget of 250k
• Models that I have considered include BMW 430i f30 cabriolet, Mercedes slk, Audi tt

Being an owner of Mercedes c200 for the past 8yrs I can consider myself a merc fan despite people telling me it's an old ppl car. merc knew for its brand, reliability, and easy-to-find parts. I love the design especially the facelift model and surprisingly spacious backseat even tho it's a 2+2 seater. leather wrap dashboard and black wood.

User Experience

•  I have already done 88,500 km.

It's been an awesome experience with Mercedes. very comfortable and stable car. 140km/h - 170km/h is a nice spot for highway cruising. handle very well despite steering less fell yet sharp and precise. full tank of 61 liters can cover up to 570km town drive. Hiway can go up to 670km for a full tank. 

Pros and Cons

Pros of my car

Brand and prestige, reliability, still smooth cruiser supple ride, easy to find parts, comfortable daily drive, great highway cruiser, comfortable seat with soft napa leather, good build quality with leather wrap dashboard with black wood steering. keyless entry. while in traffic it can detect motorbike getting near to you it will beep and my seatbelt will auto tightens.

Cons

Gearbox feels lethargic especially dropping gear. not a great ppl carrier. handling is not really sporty. This car is 2014 I bought it recond japan in 2019 few parts starts to fail need to change

Summary:

This car being 2014 japan spec has most of merc latest technology such as lane-keeping assist it vibrates whenever you hit the line. brake assist auto brake when front car emergency brake. auto cruise with steering assist where it steers automatically. I still love the design and from my eyes, this is one of the best e class designs w212 facelift versions. the very comfortable car even tho I have changed to h&r lowered spring with 19inch rims. great highway cruiser. reasonable handling at corners. plenty of power n torque 211bhp 350nm. 

Interesting Events:

Some parts I have changed considering it 7yrs age. NOx sensor rm2.2k which is quite common. no effect on the car but the engine logo pop out. accelerator paddle rm1.8k, air-cond compressor rm1.6k, door handle keyless entry rm450(2nd hand), engine mounting rm415 per piece, gearbox mount rm165, front battery rm1.2k, rear battery rm450. this car has lots of safety features such as lane-keeping assist, pedestrian assist, auto cruise with steering assist. an oil change is ard rm500 gearbox oil change rm1.2k.
