Naza Italia has unveiled the latest iteration of the Maserati GranTurismo in Malaysia. The sexy Italian gran tourer is available in two 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 variants which are:

• GranTurismo Modena – RM 738,800
• GranTurismo Trofeo – RM 878,800

Both variants are powered by a 3.0-litre Nettuno Twin Turbo V6 petrol engine which produces 490 PS/500 Nm for the Modena and 550 PS/650 Nm for the Trofeo. Both engines are mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.

The Modena has a top speed of 302 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds while the Trofeo has a max speed of 320 km/h with a century sprint from rest done and dusted in 3.5 seconds.

The second-generation GranTurismo also has an all-electric version called the Folgore which Naza Italia plans to introduce in Malaysia later this year.

Built at the Mirafiori plant in Turin, the GranTurismo is built on the FCA Giorgio Sport platform which is derived from the Giorgio platform used in the Grecale SUV as well as the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio.

The extensive use of lightweight materials including aluminium and magnesium meant that the Italian grand tourer tips the scale at 1,795 kg, a relatively light figure compared to others of its ilk.

The GranTurismo is also equipped with a Vehicle Domain Control Module (VDCM) which consists of 4 modes – Comfort, GT, Sport, and Corsa. This allows the suspension, engine, exhaust, and transmission to adjust according to the selected mode.

The Italian grand tourer comes with air suspension with adaptive damping as standard with double-wishbone suspension in front and multi-link in the rear.

For convenience, the GranTurismo features the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) voice command, a 12.3-inch central touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.2-inch digital driver’s display, and a Sonus faber audio system.
