World's fastest EV charger in operation - Huawei's 600 kW liquid-cooled DC charger unveiled in Turkey

Turkey's energy corporation, Enerji SA, in collaboration with Zebra and Huawei Digital Power Technologies, has officially unveiled Turkey's first liquid-cooled supercharging station.

Three entities announced an expansive strategic partnership aimed at spearheading the development and operation of an electric vehicle (EV) charging network. As part of their plans, they intend to deploy 50 sets of the liquid-cooled supercharging solution for commercial use throughout 2024.

The station is equipped with a Huawei 600 kW liquid-cooled supercharging master unit alongside two Zebra 500 kW ultra-fast dual-gun terminals. These installations have the capacity to concurrently serve the rapid charging requirements of up to four vehicles.

Huawei highlighted the efficiency and reliability of their core offering, the 600kW liquid-cooled supercharging master unit, boasting a lifespan of up to 10 years.

The station's design also incorporates a rooftop photovoltaic system and optimizers, with provisions for an integrated energy storage system. This approach aims for seamless integration, optimising light storage and charging operations.
