Like what you see? This is the fire-breathing, carbon-fibre-clad 2021 McLaren 765LT, unveiled today at McLaren Kuala Lumpur. Let's get right down to it because this is as no-nonsense as it gets. The good people of Woking took a tame 720S, elongated it, added expensive go-faster bits and pieces from their Formula 1 and flagship road cars to create this beast. The Kia Optima has been a long-standing alternative to established Japanese D-Segment sedans such as the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. The third-generation Kia Optima (TF) - the first to take on the K5 nameplate - marked a significant leap forward in design, build quality as well as premium features for its time. While other car makers are concerned about slowing sales amidst geopolitical tensions and rising inflation, Toyota is actively working towards selling fewer cars this year and next. The reason? Its record-breaking pace is taking a toll on Toyota employees and suppliers, and the company now wants to slow down, take a zen moment to observe its surroundings, before thinking about its next steps. In the last financial year ending March 2024, Toyota Motor doubled its profit to 2.73 trillion Yen (~RM

Imagine a convoy of media folks, a fleet of Proton X90s, and a road trip for a durian feast. That’s how Proton rolled out the red carpet. The day was kicked off early with a breakfast. Planned driver swaps at checkpoints meant we could all experience the Proton X90. From the moment the Proton X90 rolled, it showed

Following Puspakom's recent announcement that it will have to comply with the Inland Revenue Board's (LHDN) move to adopt e-invoicing, many car companies and dealers are bracing for a slowdown in sales of imported cars (CBU), especially battery EVs (BEVs), pick-up trucks, and reconditioned (recon) cars. As with any change in processes, a temporary slowdown in sales is expected in the near term due to the period of adjustment required for phasing in a new system. This should improve in the coming

The recent Puspakom ruling change requiring owners and companies to provide their Tax Identification Number (TIN) before conducting any service transactions has resulted in an abrupt influx of appointments, already causing delays in vehicle deliveries – particularly fully imported (CBU) BEVs, pick-up trucks, and recon cars.
