Lamborghini Huracán Overview
The Lamborghini Huracán (Spanish for ‘hurricane’ and pronounced ‘oo-ra-kahn’) is the successor to the iconic Lamborghini Gallardo. Equipped with a heavily revised 5.2 litre naturally aspirated V10 engine from its predecessor, the two-door, rear-mid-engined supercar from the Italian marque certainly ticks all of the right boxes to up against highly competent rivals in the likes of the Ferrari 488, McLaren 720 S and the Audi R8.Unveiled officially back in 2014, the Lamborghini Huracán shares the same platform, engine, and many of its onboard tech with the Audi R8 Type 4S (Audi owns Lamborghini). A mid-cycle facelift was subsequently introduced in 2019 with revised styling and aerodynamics, updated equipment list as well as an improved V10 powertrain as seen in the outgoing Performante variant.
Known as the Lamborghini Huracán EVO, the facelifted version is the evolution to the most successful V10-powered Lamborghini ever. Variants on offer in Malaysia is comprehensive to say the least. It is offered in both the coupé and drop-top Spyder form, with RWD option available for the purist alike.
