Returning for the fifth time, the Carlist.my Drive Auto Fair will once again return to the Setia Alam Convention Centre. This year’s event will run from 1 – 3 September 2023, Friday to Sunday, from 10am to 8pm. No less than 12 brands will be participating. Kia has announced the 2023 Kia Sorento facelift for its Korea domestic market. However, prices and mechanical details are still kept under wraps as the model will only be launched in August. What we do know is that its front-end now looks dramatically different from before. Instead of a very horizontal design motive emphasizing the 3-row seat SUV’s wide stance, the new Sorento facelift has T-bar, almost Cadillac-like design motive. Kia’s signature ‘tiger nose’ grille has also been reinterpreted.

Chery is on track to make its return to Malaysia by the second half of 2023. The brand will be re-launched here with two SUV models – the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro and Chery Omoda 5. Both models will be locally assembled (CKD), so prices are expected to be competitive against equivalent Toyota, Honda, and Mazda models.
