Over the weekend, Lexus Malaysia teased the imminent arrival of the Lexus LM – its first-ever luxury MPV.
Set to be launched on 15-April, the CBU Japan Lexus LM is priced from RM 1.15 million – that’s RM 135k more than the already-top-of-the-line Lexus LS.
The Lexus LM is powered by a naturally-aspirated 3.5-litre 2GR-FKS V6 petrol engine that does 300 PS and 361 Nm, delivered to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Lexus terms the interior as 'mobile first-class lounge' and well, it shows. There's space for four occupants only (captain seats for the 2nd-row), with AdaptiPedic comfort foams wrapped in semi-Aniline leather.
But that’s not all, as the two rear occupants can enjoy movies on-the-go, courtesy of a 26-inch full HD display, while audio is routed through a 19-speaker Mark Levinson audio system. Other amnesties include a fold-out magazine rack and a mini fridge.
Deliveries of the Lexus LM are expected to commence in June 2021.
