Just like every carmaker in Malaysia, Hyundai Sime Darby Motor (HSDM) too has just released the revised pricing for Hyundai models sold here following the end of the sales and service tax (SST) exemption on 30-June 2022.

There are no changes to the price of the Hyundai Grand Starex as the 11-seater MPV is classified as a commercial vehicle so it didn’t qualify for the SST exemptions in the first place.

Bear in mind that there are still a few models like the Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Palisade that have yet to receive the new SST-inclusive prices, but we’ll keep this post updated when we receive the latest prices.

Buyers who manage to make their bookings before the SST exemption deadline will enjoy the pre-SST prices as the Government extended the grace period for cars registered by 31-March 2023.
