Following its launches in India and Vietnam, the facelifted 2023 Honda City now gets officially introduced in neighbouring Thailand.
The streamlined range now includes a total 5 variants, across two powertrain options. The previously available 1.0L S variant has since been dropped.
Prices have also seen an increase of between THB 10k β 20k following the improvement of standard equipment, depending on variant:
- 1.0 Turbo V: TBH 629,000 (~ RM 83.8k)
- 1.0 Turbo SV: TBH 679,000 (~ RM 90.4k)
- 1.0 Turbo RS: TBH 749,000 (~ RM 99.8k)
- 1.5 e:HEV SV: THB 769,000 (~ RM 102.4k)

Perhaps the biggest news of the facelift model is the standard inclusion of the updated Honda Sensing ADAS suite which includes the Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN) feature.
The newly introduced Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (LSF) feature, however, is reserved for the City e:HEV SV and e:HEV RS variants only.

Elsewhere there are no changes to the powertrains, featuring a choice of the turbocharged 1.0-litre VTEC 3-cylinder that delivers a maximum of 122 PS and 173 Nm of torque. The Thai-spec City features the 1.0-litre turbo engine instead of naturally-aspirated 121 PS/145 Nm 1.5-litre i-VTEC offered in Malaysia to comply with the Kingdomβs Eco Car regulations.
The range-topping e:HEV variants, however, are powered by the same 109 PS/253 Nm 1.5-litre i-VTEC two-motor full-hybrid i-MMD powertrain offered here in Malaysia. The former is paired with a CVT-type automatic, whilst the e:HEV variants rely on an Electrical-Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT).

On the inside, the main highlights include the updated seat upholstery which feature red-topstitching as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto depending on the variant. There is also addition of two rear (Type-C) USB ports for greater convenience.
Following its Thai-market introduction, the 2023 Honda City Facelift is slated to be introduced in the Phillipines next week. This leaves Indonesia and Malaysia as the the only major ASEAN markets which have yet to launch the 2023 City.
