BMW Malaysia has revised the price and specifications of its BMW iX xDrive50 Sport. Previously sold at RM 561,630 (inclusive of 5-year warranty and service package), the imported from Germany iX xDrive50 has been reduced by RM 62,630, and it now sells for RM 499,000.

As with all price adjustments, there are some changes to the features available on the 2024 model BMW iX xDrive50 Sport.

But before we get to what has been removed, we will first look at what has been added.

The on-board AC charger has been upgraded to 22 kW, matching the xDrive M60. Charging from 0% to 100% now takes 5.5 hours. DC fast charging remains at 195 kW, taking 35 minutes to charge from 0% to 80%.

Power output and driving range remain unchanged at 523 PS (DIN hp) / 765 Nm, and 630 km (WLTP) respectively.

Also new is the air suspension, on both axles, now available as a standard feature.

The infotainment system has also been upgraded to the latest BMW Operating System 8.5. The new version benefits from improved graphics and a more user-friendly interface.

The previous Parking Assistant Plus has now been upgraded to Park Assistant Professional. Additional functions include ability to park in parallel and perpendicular spaces, and the ability to exit parallel parking spaces, with 3D view of the car’s surroundings/

As for the features that are removed, the Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof has been deleted.

The previous Laserlight headlamps have been replaced with LED headlamps.

BMW Natural Interaction, which allows for gesture controls has also been removed, as are the Clear & Bold interior trims, and M Exterior Line Titanium Bronze trim.

Apart from the iX xDrive50 Sport, the iX M60 also saw a reduction in prices, from RM 645,630 to RM 613,000. Like the xDrive50, there are some adjustments to the features list. The biggest difference is that LaserLight headlamps have been replaced with regular LED ones.

The entry xDrive40 variants are also no more.

The 2024 BMW iX range in Malaysia are now priced as below:

• iX xDrive40: RM 418,630
• iX xDrive40 Sport: 462,630
• iX xDrive50 Sport: RM 499,000 (less RM 62,630)
• iX M60: RM 613,000 (less RM 32,630)

Prices are inclusive of 5-year extended warranty and service package.
