The facelifted 2024 Porsche Cayenne (locally assembled, CKD Kulim) is now ready for purveyors to book in Malaysia, with prices starting from RM 599,999.

Enhanced standard specs for Malaysia

This round of updates increases the list of standard items: features optional elsewhere in the world such as Adaptive Cruise Control, soft-close doors and the Sport Chrono Package come as standard for the Malaysian-market car.

Inside, the new Cayenne also comes with 14-way electric comfort seats with memory package as standard. Headrests on the front seats are also embossed with the Porsche crest as standard for Malaysia, as are electric roll-up sun blinds for the rear windows.

Other upgrades bestowed upon the Cayenne are Matrix LED headlights, Porsche Active Suspension Management, Power Steering Plus, 20-inch Cayenne Design wheels, Front and Rear Park Assist with Surround View, Bose Surround Sound System and a smartphone tray with 15 watts wireless charging.

All of these are beyond the slightly reworked looks the car has gotten.

Three exterior colours are available including Chromite Black Metallic, Carrara White Metallic and Quarzite Grey Metallic, with black or black and red leather interiors to choose from.

Porsche has redesigned the display and control system of the new Cayenne, offering a 12.6-inch instrument cluster with a curved, free-standing design, as well as variable display options.

On the powertrain front, Porsche Malaysia lists the Cayenne to pack the revised 3.0-litre V6 turbo engine that generates 353 PS and 500 Nm, which is 13 PS and 50 Nm more than before. The transmission remains the 8-speed Tiptronic S gearbox.

Personalisation and optional extras

Further personalisation options are available for the Cayenne, including the 21-inch Cayenne Exclusive Design wheels and 22-inch Sport Design wheels. With rear seat entertainment systems as an additional option, customers can elevate the ownership experience through Tequipment accessories.

Booking and deliveries

Customers can configure and book at mycayenne.online. The brand is alsp offering matching painted vehicle keys based on exterior colour for the first 250 orders placed.

Deliveries for the new locally assembled Porsche Cayenne are scheduled to commence by the end of 2023.
