While Nissan in Malaysia shows its support to local artists, Honda Thailand shows its support for the upcoming 2021 Miss Universe Thailand finale. Not only is the all-new FE 2022 Honda Civic the centrepiece at the finale, but the winner of the title will also get to drive home one for free.

The 2022 Honda Civic FE was launched in the land of smiles back in August. Thailand is the first of the South East Asian countries to welcome the launch of the latest generation Civic.

Three variants were offered at launch, all three variants are powered by a 1.5-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 178 PS and 240 Nm. Like most Hondas, the Civic’s 1.5-litre engine is linked to a CVT that sends power to the front wheels.

All variants of the FE-generation Civic also comes with a full suite of Honda Sensing ADAS that includes a new addition known as Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN). The system alerts the driver when the car in front has moved ahead.

The 2021 Miss Universe Thailand finale will happen on the 24th of October 2021. We wonder which of these 30 beauties posing next to the new FE Honda Civic will represent Thailand in the international finale. In case you missed it, Malaysia will not be sending a representative this year.

Closer to home, the C-segment sedan was initially slated to launch in Q3 of 2021 but plans have since been pushed back due to the pandemic.
