Whether you like its snout or not, the BMW XM is here to stay and BMW Group Malaysia has just launched the more powerful 2023 BMW XM Label Red in the country.

The XM Label Red is powered by the BMW M Hybrid system that combines the 4.4-litre M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine with an electric motor to produce 748 PS and 1,000 Nm. That’s significantly higher than the regular XM which makes 653 PS and 800 Nm.

The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) sport activity vehicle (SAV) accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds while also offering pure electric range of up to 83 km (WLTP).

The XM Label Red comes with two colours for the accent strip in either Toronto Red or Shadowline and is customizable with up to 50 custom paint options via the BMW Individual Visualiser. Two wheel options are also offered depending on the accent strip – bicolour 22-inch M light alloy wheels with red accents or bicolour black accent 23-inch M light alloy wheels.

The BMW XM Label Red is fully imported (CBU) from the USA and is priced from RM 1,615,800 including the 5-year extended warranty and service package as well as sales and service tax (on the road, without insurance). Meanwhile, the regular XM is priced from RM 1,398,800 (OTR without insurance, with extended warranty and service package).
